Preventative Maintenance and Annual Service Agreements
DTF Mechanical, Inc. offers preventative maintenance and annual service agreements for our customers to avoid costly repairs and to make sure your equipment is running properly and safely. It extends the life of your equipment and lowers utility costs. Our service agreement provides you with two complete inspections per year. Once during the spring season and again during the fall season. We also provide our customers who have a service agreement a 10% discount on any repairs, if a problem should arise.
Service Agreements can be purchased for the following types of equipment:
- Electric Heat
- Heat Pumps
- Gas Package Units
- Heat Pump Package Units
- Heating/Cooling Split Units
The following accessories can also be added to your Annual Service Agreement for an additional fee:
- Humidifiers
- Programmable Thermostats
- Electronic Air Cleaners
- Condensation Pumps

Service Agreement Checklist
- Chemically and Mechanically Clean Indoor and Outdoor Coils
Cleaning coils will maintain the efficiency of your equipment. - Lubrication of Rotating and Bearing Surfaces
Periodic lubrication will decrease friction and prevent costly repairs. - Check All Safety Controls
Prevents costly repairs to equipment and helps to maintain a fail-safe system. - Check and Clean Blower Drivers and Assembly
Maintains proper air flow. - Check and Calibrate All Temperature Controllers
Maintains a true comfort zone. - Electrical Motor Testing
Helps to detect any malfunctions that may cause equipment failure. - Clean and Treat Condensation Lines and Pans
Cleaning ensures proper drainage to eliminate mold and spores and to reduce growth of bacteria. - Check and Clean Combustion, Burner and Manifold
This will maintain efficiency of units and ensure proper gas pressure. - Change Filters
A dirty filter decreases air flow and the efficiency of your system. Changing filters prevents damage to your system. - Check Refrigerant Charge
Maintains 100% efficiency by keeping the proper charge in your system. Any leaks will cause high operating costs, decrease efficiency and will result in costly repairs.
